Illustration Order and Production Process

Inquiries and Consultations

Please feel free to contact us via the “Contact” page on this site. We will respond to general inquiries within one business day and to requests for estimates within three business days.

Order

Once we have confirmed the budget, delivery schedule, and other details, and both parties agree there are no issues, the request will be finalized.

Preparation of the Hearing Sheet

Please fill in the necessary details (such as the number of illustrations, size, and intended use) on the “Work Confirmation Form” we have prepared.

Meeting

We will discuss the illustration’s concept, motif, style, and any other requests to refine the details for production. Communication via email is standard, but we can also arrange phone calls, online meetings, or in-person consultations as needed.

Rough sketch production

To share the finished image, we will first create a rough sketch. This will be a simple pencil sketch (with light coloring if necessary).

Rough sketch review

Please review the rough sketch and decide whether we can proceed with the final production as is. If it does not match your vision, please request revisions, and we will create a new rough sketch.

Final Draft and Coloring

Once the rough sketch is approved, we will proceed with creating the final illustration. For color illustrations, we will complete the coloring as well.

Revision

Once the illustration is complete, we will send it to you as image data. If you wish to request any revisions, we will make them (however, we cannot accommodate changes to the final artwork once you have approved the rough draft).

Delivery

If there are no issues, we will proceed with delivery as is. If the delivery format is not an image file (such as PSD data), we will convert it to your desired format before delivery.
